• Quentin Tarantinos next project, Django Unchained, is a Spaghetti Western set in the Old South following a slave who seeks help from a German bounty hunter to find his wife.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tarantino has is eye set on Will Smith to star as the lead 'Django' and as we all know, Tarantino is no stranger to casting some of Hollywoods biggest names. No offer has yet been made but Smith has received the script.

Samuel L. Jackson, who has worked with Tarantino numerous times in the past on films such as Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill Vol 1 & 2 and Inglorious Basterds to name a few, has already been cast in the film and will be playing a house slave to the bad guy, Monsier Calvin Candie.

Christoph Waltz, who played Col. Hans Landa in Inglorious Basterds, has also been cast and will appear as the bounty hunter. It is believed this role was written with Waltz in mind.

Regardless of whether or not Will Smiths does end up in the film, I'm sure Tarantino will not disappoint.
